Pictures - A Universal Language

   From the book:

The Wisdom and Wit of T. De Witt Talmage

Pictures, a Universal Language

"Pictures are not only a strong but a universal language. The human race is divided into almost as many languages as there are nations, but the pictures may speak of people of all tongues. We say that children are fond of pictures, but notice any man when he takes up a book, and you will see that the first thing that he looks at is the picture. Have only those in your house that appeal to the better nature. "

DeSoto - DeART!

Visting a few local arts and crafts fair recently, I happened to stumble across this DeSoto parked off the beaten path.

After looking through some images of DeSoto's this looks to be from 1940-1949.  What a tank!

Today's Painting - A Play on Pollock

Today painters do not have to go to a subject matter outside of themselves. Most modern painters work from a different source. They work from within.  Jackson Pollock
