Giving BACK!

Given that P.E.N. Studio has very limited funds at times, I have created little gems that I call Corkelry.  Bohemian Baubles as I call them are made from recycled corks from a local winery here in Knoxville.  The Blue Slip Winery is located in the Old City on Jackson Avenue.  It is the only Urban Winery in the Southeast.  A visit to the Blue Slip is a 'must see' if you are in the downtown area. 

A portion of sales from P.E.N. Studio's Bohemian Baubles are donated back to various non-profit groups which are close to my heart.  One of my favorites local organizations is the Blount County Humane Society.  Having rescued a poodle from Chattanooga that was to be put down, their NO KILL policy and efforts in the community to find forever homes for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, furry little animals....etc....is very important to me. 

If you stop by the BCHS on Broadway in Maryville, TN,  you can purchase a pair of Corkelry Earrings.  Tell em' P.E.N. sent ya'!  100% the proceeds from the earrings at BCHS Thrift Store remain with the organization.  Drop by and pick up a pair.  They have lots of other items to re-purpose too!  Do your part!  PAWS for a Cause.  Give a Gift that Gives BACK!
